Triple Bow Hawk | Back to School Hairstyle

You guys! It is #BackToSchool season again! My little niece Kilee came to town last month and I couldn't wait to get to work on her beautiful blonde hair! We decided to try the Triple Bun Hawk hairstyle. What do you think?

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 8-10 small hair elastics, hairspray or spray wax {if desired}.
Time Requirement: 10 -15 minutes
Skill Level: Medium
STEP 1:
Take a small section of the top part of the hair, about 2 inches above ears and pull into a small ponytail with a clear elastic.
STEP 2:
Separate the ponytail in half and clip one half out of the way.
STEP 3:
Take your topsy tail and stick the point through the hair just above the ponytail. Pull the other half of your ponytail through the topsy tail, and pull the point down and out of the hair, leaving a nice loop with half of the ponytail.
STEP 4:
Repeat with the second half.
STEP 5:
Bobby pins each underside of the bow loop down to the head.
STEP 6:
Take your topsy tail and put it directly in the middle of the box, and pull through one small strand as the center of the bow. Make sure to pull it tight, unlike the bow loops.
STEP 7:
Take the leftover ponytail and add hair to it, forming a second ponytail directly under the first.
STEP 8:
Repeat bow process!
STEP 9:
Repeat previous steps for third ponytail and bow!
This is a great back to school look for your little girls! It’s also a fun way to keep their hair out of their face during #school, and a great conversation piece for the friends! This hairstyle would look cute on any hair color, but Kilee’s blonde hair really helped with the tutorial! The #bows in this faux hawk add a nice girly touch!
