From review units to concession devices to press samples, we get a lot of demo products at Pocketnow – so many that we can’t always get around to covering them during the work week. But that's what the weekend is for, right? Introducing Swag Bag Sundays: quick videos giving you a quick look at some of the accessories that cross our review desk.
Today we’re taking a look at a product that charges your gadgets while it carries them: the TYLT Energi+ backpack, sent to us by ZTE after our visit to the company's booth during CES 2015. With 13 total pockets, a laptop compartment big enough for 15.5-inch notebooks and the cool, edgy industrial design TYLT has come to be famous for, the TYLT Energi+ Backpack would be an eye-catcher even without the box of magic at its heart that gives the bag its name. But with a 10,400 mAh capacity and variable-amperage charging ports for three separate devices, the Energi+ becomes much more than just a backpack. Add in a clever cable-routing scheme, integrated NFC and a lay-flat construction for ease of airport scanning, and the TYLT Energi+ Backpack is an instant contender for everyone who travels a lot and appreciates omnipresent power when they do it.
That's true in theory, anyway. To find out how well the TYLT Energi+ Backpack lives up to the promise put down on paper, check out our first installment of Swag Bag Sunday in the video above – and be sure to let us know what you think of this charging bag in the comments!
