United Nations - The United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit (UN COPS) is a historic gathering of more than 100 police leaders from around the world.
At the Summit, national chiefs of police, together with key partners and senior United Nations representatives will chart the way forward for United Nations Police in order to deliver greater impact on the ground and to tackle the policing challenges of the twenty-first century.
UN COPS will also be a platform to discuss how peace operations and national policing complement and mutually reinforce each other when addressing current and emerging challenges, such as transnational threats.
