United Nations - The outgoing President of the UN General Assembly, Mogens Lykketoft, has called on the international community to take greater responsibility and make stronger commitment to support refugees and internally displaced people- displaced both by conflict and effects of Climate Change. In an interview with the UN News Centre, just before he wraps up his presidency on 13 September 2016, Mr. Lykketoft said the world has witnessed some of the worst conflicts, creating "unprecedented humanitarian catastrophes," and hence, the need for more work to be done.
