Located in a small Massachusetts town, Uncle Ned's is a unique aquarium shop. They specialize in the rare and hard to find fish and plants.
Two brothers run the place and every time I visit the shop, I see something new or wonder "what is that smell". When I leave, I think about Ebola or yellow fever and if my health insurance will pay for the treatment.
I decided to shoot this documentary because of the colors in the tanks. I wanted to tax my new HDV camera with crazy color temperatures and vivid saltwater wildlife. The fact the people examined are different and interesting was an added bonus.
This video was shot with the Sony HVR-Z1U camera and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. It was mastered in HDV and compressed with Windows Media 9 HDTV 720p 24p. Enjoy.
