We Couldn't Find a Quarter! | Behind the Braids Ep. 134

As the kids come home for Christmas, our McKnight family festivities begin! This week we went to Paisley's last cheer performance of 2020, watched the largest indoor Christmas tree lighting, and celebrated the 12 Days of Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum. Brooklyn and Bailey even found a huge gum ball machine... but couldn't find a quarter! ????

My kids have always loved gum ball machines. It never was really about the gum, with flavor that lasts like 2 minutes... it was more about how the gum ball gets dispensed! Well, we went to dinner the other night as a family, and Brooklyn & Bailey found a huge gum ball machine. BUT, they couldn't find a quarter. They looked everywhere, but my console in our family car eventually came to the rescue!

Paisley has been practicing her cheer routine, and even made a few up herself! Watch her hilarious filming of her made-up routine after sneaking Shaun's phone when he wasn't looking!

The Dallas Arboretum is a stunningly-beautiful park here in Dallas that houses many seasonal attractions, delicious foods, and awesome scenery with trees and a lake. Every Christmas, they put up the 12 Days of Christmas display and it is consistently one of our family activities we do each year. What do you think of it?

Kamri give an update of her time in Utah at college, experiencing her first snowfall. Shaun is always jumping out and scaring us... so this time it was MY TURN! Watch as I try to scare him for a change!
