Ever since it was announced that all learning at the University would be happening on an online platform for the remainder of the spring semester, students, faculty, and the entire University community has had to adjust to this new way of doing things. The transition has gone more smoothly for some than others, but for all, it has truly been a challenge to say goodbye to their college home beside the Genesee.

We talked to some of our students about how they are handling this time away from campus, whether they are coping by enjoying more time with family, delving into a passion like music, or finding new perspective amidst this time of self-reflection.

Whatever the situation, there remains a strong bond of community. Even in this era of social distancing, there is a belief that we are all in this together, and we will emerge even better equipped to handle the challenges that life brings forth.
