It hit me one day that i didn’t like a certain phrase I kept saying to my kids, so I made a small, but important adjustment.
Let’s always prioritize mental health. We can empower our kids to know they can accomplish things independently, while still reminding them that needing help does not mean they’re inadequate or weak.
Luka wrote in his chapter of our book how he shut down, pushed people away and thought he could do it on his own. But he made no progress with his mental health until he accepted help from loved ones and professionals, and joined support groups. We need others in order to be our best. ❤️
