I honestly can't remember the last time Apple held an event that lasted more than an hour. Heck the iPad. The iPad Event was 38 minutes. Scary fast was 30. Fine, the previous WWDC was 2 hours, but it had to be as Vision Pro took most of it. This year we had no hardware, and yet in 1 hour and 40 minutes, we got what I'd call a decent deep dive into what Apple is doing for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, Watch OS 11, VisionOS 2 and macOS Sequoia. Some were good, others like Apple Intelligence were great, but then some were a blend of cool and disappointment. I'm Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and it's time for another deep dive into why you should care about everything that just got announced.
