After his first Backpacking trips Greg became a tour guide in South America for 2 years and won the competition for Australias Best Job in the world soon after. In this episode Greg also talks about his backpacking trip through Eastern Africa.

Greg started his travels at a very early age and was fortunate enough to be able to go abroad before he had to decide what to study. This led towards a career in the travel industry starting with his first job at G Adventures, an adventure tour compony based in his hometown.
From working in the office he made the next step and eventually became a tour leader for big trips in the southern cone region of South America. After 2 years on the job he wanted more and applied in Australia’s competition for the „Best Job in the World“ and landed the gig as the wildlife caretaker competing with 40,000 aplicants.
