We’ve seen a few companies experiment with smartphones and pico projectors for a while, and none with positive results. But what happens if you do things backwards, and instead you build a projector that’s powered by Android?
This ZTE’s second attempt at redefining how a projector should work, and the idea is to mix the capabilities of a regular 200 lumens projector with some Android smartphone capabilities. The combination has a ton of potential, since you can carry the SPro 2 with you anywhere and project your favorite movie, or play your favorite game from any wall in your place, or on the go.
I'll admit this was one of the products that impressed me the most at CES 2015, and while the idea can be expanded to many usage scenarios, the implementation is definitely something you should notice in our full video review. Make sure you also catch our hands-on video from our CES 2015 coverage, and our Unboxing video as well.
