Before students, faculty and staff head home for the holidays, many take the time to celebrate on campus. Among the festivities this year was The Nutcracker, performed in Dinkelspiel Auditorium by the student-run Cardinal Ballet Company. Another holiday tradition is the annual Messiah sing along. The “sing and play it yourself” celebration of Handel’s masterwork is a favorite of the campus community and conducted by Professor of Music Stephen Sano. Residential & Dining Enterprises also created their annual holiday masterpiece with a Stanford-themed, live-sized gingerbread house.
