My name is Bob Francis and in this video I'm going to give you a few useful tips to eat healthy while you work.
According to the American Dietetic Association and ConAgra Foods Foundation 70% of Americans eat at their desks several times a week. Major drawbacks of desk dining include increased chances of overeating because you don't pay attention to how much you eat while working and it's needless to mention office desk contains 400 more germs and bacteria than the toilet according to experts.
If you don't have enough time to go outside to eat and you still want to have a healthy lunch while working, here are a few tips:
Pay attention to what you eat, choose a meal moderate in size
Bring your lunch to work in an insulated lunch bag to keep your meal fresh
Walk whenever you can during the day i.e. look for different ways to move around while in office
Disinfect your desk
Use a placemat
Invite your officemate to eat with you
Whenever you can, eat outside the office.
