Cambridge researchers are helping local authorities make ethically-informed decisions about using AI in their work. Putting principles into practice, a collaboration with Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service is supporting the introduction of a new AI tool designed to speed up the process of reviewing the thousands of consultation comments from local residents on everything from housing, transport and infrastructure to environmental policies.
The project is funded and supported by the AI-deas programme hosted by ai@cam, the University of Cambridge’s mission to drive a new wave of AI innovation that delivers public value.
