A first-generation student, Eric Wagner graduated from the University of Rochester in 1997 with a degree in biochemistry.
Today, he's a professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and was recently elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society and publisher of the journal Science.
