Lea Thome ’22 came to the University of Rochester from Germany, with high school stops in China and Slovakia. A double major in political science and international relations, she founded our International Students Association while on campus, and spoke with current first-year international student Jake Gates '28 about what it's like joining a global community in Rochester.
