07 November 2014 - Rodney Leon, the architect who designed the "Ark of Return" memorial, visited the United Nations this past October to view the proposed location of the permanent monument.
He met with construction workers to go over the structure of the monument and plan out all the elements attached to the project. Installation for the memorial on the grounds of UN Headquarters in New York is expected next year.
