United Nations - The United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Samantha Power, visited on 29 October the UNMEER headquarters in the Ghanaian capital of Accra.
She was welcomed and briefed there by the Secretary-General's Special Representative and Head of UNMEER, Anthony Banbury, on the latest developments in the response to the Ebola crisis.
Afterwards, Ambassador Power and Mr. Banbury visited the warehouse where supplies for the Ebola-affected countries and held a joint press conference.
