As part of its ongoing partnership, The Berklee Popular Music Institute (BPMI) and publishing and talent management company Primary Wave, present a reimagined version of iconic hit “Three Little Birds” from legendary reggae artist, Bob Marley. Throughout their remote semester, BPMI students used Zoom and smart phone technologies to produce, record, and create videos of iconic hits from Primary Wave’s artist catalogue. Students collaborated with top executives from Primary Wave, to produce a creative interpretation of the song. This video was created in collaboration with the Berklee Black Student Union and represents our support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
This project represents the first major partnership between a college music business program and a major industry publishing company.
