Betty demonstrates how to make Hot Crab Dip and Wonton Chips. This is a terrific, flavorful appetizer that is easy to make.
Hot Crab Dip and Wonton Chips
8 ounces cream cheese
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
(2) 6-ounce cans white crab meat, drained
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion tops
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 package wonton wrappers
cooking oil spray
kosher salt (optional)
Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Parmesan cheese, crab meat, green onion, and black pepper. Spoon mixture into a medium-sized casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees (F) for 25 minutes until hot and bubbly. While crab dip is baking, make wonton chips: Cut wonton wrappers into 4 triangles. Spray with cooking oil spray and sprinkle lightly with kosher salt. Place wonton triangles on baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 7 to 8 minutes, or until brown and crispy. Serve Wonton Chips as dippers for the Hot Crab Dip. Enjoy! --Betty :)
