Betty's Husband, Rick, demonstrates how to make Long Island Iced Tea. This alcoholic drink has 5 liquors, along with lime juice and cola.
Long Island Iced Tea
Ice cubes, to fill a small cocktail shaker
½ ounce vodka
½ ounce gin
½ ounce rum
½ ounce tequila
½ ounce Triple Sec
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons simple syrup (Boil ¼ cup sugar and ¼ cup water until sugar dissolves, then cool.)
3 ounces cola
1 lime slice, for garnish
Chill a tall cocktail glass or mug in the freezer for an hour or more before combining recipe ingredients. Chill alcoholic beverages, lime juice, simple syrup, and cola in refrigerator until well-chilled. When read to assemble drink, pour chilled cola into chilled cocktail glass or mug. Fill small cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Pour vodka, gin, rum, tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, and simple syrup over ice in cocktail shaker. Put cover on, and shake vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes. Pour shaken mixture, including ice cubes, over cola in glass or mug. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve immediately. Enjoy! --Betty ♡♥♡♥♡
