Senior year for Brooklyn & Bailey is in full swing! Prom has finally arrived and Brooklyn, Bailey, and Kamri all went in a group together. We had a house full of girls getting ready, and parents and teenagers were everywhere in our yard taking pictures!
It was sweet that my three oldest daughters were able to experience Prom together. Their Prom was held at the Dallas Aquarium, and they had such a blast dancing and looking at all the fish!
Brooklyn and Bailey also took their senior photos this week, and it was so much fun! They took pictures in a chair park, bluebonnet field, and with a convertible Volkswagen bug! The girls were too short for the picture in the car, so I came up with the funniest solution! You’ll have to watch to find out what we had to do to get the visible in the right shot!
We have so many things happening around here! Bailey went on a date with Asa to Harding University over Easter weekend where they attended Spring Sing, a really fun musical show with sororities and fraternities on campus. Then they went to Hibachi where Bailey gets to help toss some ingredients onto the griddle!
You will also see Shaun help Rylan who gave her first talk in Church on Sunday. Her topic was on Repentance,. and she wrote the whole three-page speech on her own! Rylan did a great job with it too! These spring weeks are getting really busy... Brooklyn and Bailey will be graduating before you know it!
Of course, no week is complete without chocolate chip cookies, so I made some and used the Amazon Echo Show as my kitchen helper. It made baking cookies a total breeze, though I used way more chocolate chips than the recipe called for!
