Everyone Home for Christmas + Brooklyn, Bailey & Kamri's Birthday | Behind the Braids

This was our year to have EVERYONE home for Christmas! We packed so many activities into this video, so be sure to watch the whole thing to see everything we did!

Every other year, Brooklyn and Bailey go to their in-laws’ housees for the holidays. This year happened to be our year to have them home with us. With Kamri and Rylan in town as well, back from college, it made for a full house.

We took everyone to see Les Miserables in downtown Dallas, and the musical was incredible. While everyone had seen the movie, nobody had actually seen the Broadway play.

Christmas Eve. We always have the family tradition of taking everyone to IHOP, and then to whatever family Christmas movie released that week we had so much fun, before spending the rest of the day together before Christmas Eve festivities. The elves delivered their Christmas pajamas, then everybody went to bed.

Christmas morning we enjoyed opening gifts from each other and some of the ones you can see in this video or on the girls’ youtube channels.

We had several more fun activities planned between the week of Christmas and New Year’s, before we headed to our lake house for New Year’s Eve, and the twins’ and Kamri’s birthdays. We ended the night with cake and fireworks.

I love building such wonderful traditions and memories with our family. It’s one of the most important things we can do as parents.
