It’s not enough to be quietly non racist. We MUST be loudly anti-racist ❤️These last few weeks have been hard. I feel the pain in so many ways. My heart hurts for the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others. My anger peaks seeing the blatant misuse of race from Amy Cooper in Central Park, and others. I’m not the perfect voice for this problem. I will never be black or have even the tiniest knowledge of what it’s like being a BIPOC in America. But I am a voice. And I’ll use my voice to loudly defend them, support them, learn from them, and continue to try to make things better. For the sake of my children and other children who look like my kids. Even one tiny, imperfect step can make a difference.

We’re thrilled to have Rylan home from school! She attended an out of state boarding school her Freshman year, and we missed her a ton. Although we visited her every 3-4 weeks, the pandemic completely shut that down, so it’s been AWESOME to have the house packed with all of the kids in one place again (at least until Kamri and the twins leave for school again in Aug).❤️ It makes my heart full!

Brooklyn decided to have her eyebrows microbladed this week! It was a first for her, and she was a little nervous! I’ve had mine done before, and you guys, you should TOTALLY try it if you hate filling in your eyebrows every day as much as we do! The microblading procedure is semi-permanent, and usually lasts anywhere from 1-2 years. I seriously can’t recommend it enough as a time saver!

You’ll also see Daxton’s new haircut, Shaun (almost) letting Dax cut his hair, and Kamri apparently is an embroidery PRO now? How cool is the Nike symbol that she embroidered on her sweatshirt?? Now all the girls are embroidering... Brooklyn, Bailey, Rylan, and yes... even Paisley!
