This in-school learning is supported by an online platform where students interact directly with designers, developers and entrepreneurs who volunteer their time and expertise.Impact:In London alone there were over 80,000 new tech job openings in the past two years yet, last year, only 3,420 students took Computing A-level in the whole of England. Out of those, 255 were girls. Focusing on low income and underrepresented communities, Apps for Good plans to engage UK youth in app creation through an online platform and in-classroom training. Over three years, Apps for Good will reach more than 175,000 students. The ultimate goal is to change the future of tech education and develop a new generation of tech entrepreneurs in the UK and around the world.Get involved:Cast your vote by the 31st May on https://globalimpactchallenge.withgoogle.com/ for the £500,000 fan favourite Global Impact Award.
