Celebration of Scholarships: Alumni in the Rochester Community

Each year, the University recognizes scholarship recipients for the remarkable work they are doing in the classroom. This year, we are recognizing four of our outstanding alumni for the ways they have taken what they learned in the classroom and are now applying it to their career path and in the Rochester community.

From the emergency room, to the courtroom, from the classrooms of our city schools, to the boardrooms that are helping to shape our vibrant startup economy, these are some of the University's alumni who are directly impacting our community in positive ways. For each of them, that journey toward an ever better community, and world, began right here at the University of Rochester.
