PhD student Imad Ahmed is part of the team from Cambridge working with the @universityofleeds to launch the Moonsighters Academy – a new course giving community leaders the skills to conduct their own moon sightings ????

The Moonsighters Academy hopes to reduce any friction around when exactly Eid should be celebrated in the UK to mark the end of Ramadan.

Imad sat down with Dr Seb Falk from @girtoncollege to discuss his work, and the history of the link between astronomy and faith.
