Through dynamic discussion, Stanford Health Care and School of Medicine leaders provide insights from multiple perspectives. Practices, policies and principles for an integrated approach to compassion in health care are presented. Speakers include: Lloyd Minor, MD, Dean of the Stanford University School of Medicine; Charles Prober, MD, Senior Associate Vice Provost for Health Education and Founding Executive Director of the Stanford Center for Health Education; Dale E. Beatty, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, is the Chief Nursing Officer – Vice President Patient Care Services for Stanford Health Care; and Mickey Trockel, MD, PhD, Clinical Associate Professor, Psychiatry & Behavioral Science.
