I love garlic, so I add garlic in this pasta to make it more aromatic, feel free to discard the garlic as the classic spaghetti carbonara doesn't need garlic. The secret of how to make spaghetti carbonara really tasty and creamy is by using egg and parmesan cheese. Remember not to put the egg when it's piping hot or it will become scrambled eggs instead.

In order to make this delicious spaghetti carbonara, you'll need :

4 garlic
75 gr pancetta/ bacon
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp grated parmesan
200 gr spaghetti
3 sprigs of thyme
20 gr salt and pepper to taste
