My name is John Phillips. We have horses, miniature horses. We have miniature llamas and alpacas, chickens, ducks. We have bearded dragons. Our website is www.squealsonwheels.us.When you're purchasing an iguana, you have to really know what you're getting into. Iguanas are very large animals. They grow. They need different requirements when they're young and they're older. They need big space for their cages. Their aquariums might fit them when they're young. You need a big one as they grow older. They are one of the most expensive animals to maintain in the lizard family. You need UVB lighting, you need basking lighting. They also need a warm environment to heat the area. Some of the UVB lights can be quite expensive. One of the things you have to watch out for for the iguana is they do have very sharp teeth. Although this iguana has not bit any of us yet. It has been handled every day since it was born, so it's accustomed to humans. You may watch out, because when they do bite, they can do some damage to you. Another thing you have to watch out for iguanas is they do carry the salmonella bacteria. You have to use a lot of hand washing and cleanliness on your own after touching the iguana.
