Here's the tutorial on how to do this basic and very popular dutch braid! :* I'll show you how to do the normal, tight, neat version, but you can also pancake the braid (pull out the edges) to make it big, voluminous and messy! Hope you enjoy and subscribe for more!

Step by Step INSTRUCTIONS:
-First pick up a section of hair from the top of your head and split into 3 equal sections.
-Cross the leftmost section UNDER the middle section.
-Then cross the right most section UNDER the middle section.
We're gonna repeat this, but from now on you also have to add in hair from the sides of your head.
-So add in some hair to the leftmost section and then cross it UNDER the middle one.
-Same thing for the other side-Add in some hair to the rightmost section and cross it UNDER the middle one.
Repeat that: so add in some hair to the left and cross it under. Then add in some to the right side and cross it under.
If you want to you can also first cross under the right strand, and THEN cross over the NEW section of hair from the right side.
(Choose whatever method your prefer)
When you have added in all of your hair, just continue the braid without adding in any hair to it. So left goes under the middle then right goes under the middle.
When you get to the end, secure it with an elastic and that is it!
You can then pull out the edges as much as you want depending on how messy you want the braid.

Tips and Tricks:
-The dutch braid is a reverse french braid, meaning that you cross the strands UNDER each other instead of over. Make sure you remember that!!
-If you find this braid difficult to do on your self, then start off by trying it on someone else. It might be a lot quicker and easier for you! :)
