How to instantly calm anxiety

The holistic psychologist: I'm going to show you how to instantly calm anxiety. We're going to use cold exposure on something called the vagus nerve, which starts at the base of the brain and goes to every organ in your body.
It activates our parasympathetic nervous system (or rest and digest).
So the next time you feel anxious I want you to go to your freezer, and get out an ice pack or a bag of frozen veggies whatever you have. And then you're going to put this on the back of your neck right where your vagus nerve runs.
Hold it there 1-2 minutes, breathe slowly and deeply. Immediately you're going to feel your body calm down and you're going to notice those really anxious thoughts slow down, because of the stimulation of the cold on your body.
