To make this project as shown, you'll need the following tools and ingredients:

INGREDIENTS for cupcakes and decorations:
-standard size cupcakes
-white and green fondant
-white, black, orange, green, blue, and yellow buttercream
-sparkle dust
-green sprinkles
TOOLS for cupcakes:
-shamrock cookie cutters in medium and small
-small rainbow cutter (can use ovals)
-pizza cutter
-cake decorating bags
-cookie sheet with parchment paper for drying fondant decorations
-small hat candy mold for leprechaun hats
-round cutter set
-tips: 1, 2, 3, 6, 10, 506
-3 sets of green Mardi Gras beads
CUPCAKE TOWER
INGREDIENTS:
-lots of white buttercream
-green, yellow, orange, purple and blue buttercream
-clear green pixie dust
-gold chocolate coins
TOOLS:
-20" wood circle covered in black
-16" wood circle covered in black
-12" cake board circles (3) taped together and covered in black
-8" cake board circles (3) taped together and covered in black
-screws
-electric screwdriver or drill
-ruler
-level
-double sided tape
-glue gun and glue sticks
-2 green plastic pots (pots of gold-approx. 6-7")
-Two 7" cake boards to cover top of pots
-scissors
-cake decorating bags
-wooden rainbow cut out of 3/4" plywood with a jigsaw
-2 braces with screws from hardware store
-large green felt derby
-3 green plastic mugs (same height if possible)
-3 pillars (cut to extend 3/4" over top of mugs)
-PVC pipe cutter
-green hat with long orange pigtails for topper
ALTERNATIVE TOPPER (cake hat with hair):
-One 3" cake Styrofoam dummy or cake
-green, black, gold or yellow, and orange fondant
-clay extruder gun for hair
