Should you learn fundamental analysis? It depends. It depends on your length of trade. It also depends on where you're better at.

There are a couple of ways to evaluate stocks in general. It could be technicals, or it could be fundamentals.

Now, do you need any of those to make great trades? No, you could just work on position sizing. But if you do want to evaluate stocks, you've got the technicals and the fundamentals.

Usually, they go hand in hand. Stocks with great fundamentals will have great technicals, and stocks with great technicals will have great fundamentals.

The fundamentals are more useful if you're holding a stock for 2 or 3 years or longer. They are big companies. It takes a lot of changes and capital to make a shift and pivot, just like the Titanic.

Otherwise, you're probably going to stick to technicals or just general price movement. If your holding time is less than a year or two, then probably technicals will be a lot better off.

Otherwise, could you go with fundamentals? Sure, but you really got to understand what you're looking for underneath the hood.
