Come joins us for Japanese Shake Shack burger taste test in Tokyo, Japan as we review some of our favorite menu items you can find at any Shake Shack as well as one unique item only found in Tokyo, Japan. Shake Shack is one of our favorite places in the world to eat burgers. There is just something about the patties, toppings, crispy bacon and cheese that make it gourmet fast food. A cut above anything else you can get, in terms of hamburgers and cheeseburgers, in a chain restaurant. We've been to Shake Shack together in Las Vegas, New York City, Seoul, London and now Tokyo! Audrey has also been to one in Washington, D.C. but you know that doesn't really count ;) Not jealous at all.

Anyways, all in all this is what we ordered:

1) SmokeShack single patty cheeseburger - 910 Yen
2) SmokeShack double patty cheeseburger - 1,210 Yen
3) Crinkle cut fries with cheese - 630 Yen
4) Black Sesame Shake - 680 Yen
5) Crunchy Peanut Butter Crunchcrete - 490 Yen

Total Price 4,212 Yen (with tax) = $38 USD

Japanese Shake Shack Burgers + Fries + Sides Taste Test | Tokyo, Japan Travel Food Video Transcript:

Today we are taking you to an American institution. Shake Shack. And thankfully Shake Shack has become so popular that you can find them all over the world yes where you can enjoy their delicious hamburgers.

We are going to be eating Shake Shack in Tokyo. I'm beyond excited when I saw there was one in the city. It was like we need to go because seriously these are the best hamburgers in the whole world. And you are going to see why soon.

One Smoke Shack single. Alright here we are at Shake Shack. We just placed our order. Our Shake Shack burger is calling us.

This is so wonderful let me turn it around. So you can see. The goodness. That is Shake Shack. I'm going to read the menu so you know exactly what we got if you want to recreate this order. And you probably will.

For the hamburgers we got the Smoke Shack which is a cheeseburger with all natural smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper and Shack sauce. I got the single. Sam got the double which has two hamburgers.

Then the fries we got the cheese fries in the regular size. And moving on to the drinks we got the black sesame shake. Which is Japanese.

It is the one menu item that is unique to Tokyo. To Japan. Black sesame yes. We've been eating a lot of that. I can't wait to try that. I bet it is going to be rich.

I bet it will be. And then for the dessert this is called the chocolate peanut butter crunch crate. Like concrete.

With chocolate custard. Chocolate chunks. Chocolate toffee and peanut butter sauce.

That meal has come to an end and we sure took care of every last bite. Every last drop. Boom!

I don't want to explode but yeah let's move on to price point. So we demolished all of this. So this came to 4,212 Yen which at current exchange is $38 US dollars so basically 19 per person. We had a lot of food. We got the premium burgers. We had the fries. We had the shake. We had the concrete. Yeah, it was just a lot of food.

Everything was delicious. It was as authentic as any Shake Shack we've been to anywhere in the world. And it terms of price point it kind of fits in the middle. It is a little bit more expensive than the Shake Shack's in the US but considerably less expensive than the one in London for example.

If you are in Tokyo and you're craving a delicious burger you've got to come here. We highly recommend it.
