John Fowler: The step functions that you've seen in technology in engineered systems and in SPARC and the operating systems and virtualization are only the beginning of what I think we can accomplish. When I look at cloud computing and virtualization, what I see today, generally, is a very generic approach. But let me be very clear with you. Running the database in complex middleware and enterprise applications is not served well by a generic approach.
