In this video, Mahalo's Windows expert Sean Hewitt explains how to use Windows Gadgets.

Using Windows Gadgets
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Windows Gadgets is a simple, one-use program that will set up features (such as a clock, weather monitor or traffic map) for your desktop.

To open the Windows Gadget, click on the
Start menu. Select All Programs then  Desktop Project Gallery.
To open any of these gadgets, double-click on them, and they will be presented on the right side of your screen. The Clock and the Weather Monitor are good examples. With some gadgets, you have the option of making them appear smaller or larger via the small icon that appears to the right of it when you hover your mouse over it.
If you would like to add additional gadgets, simply click to Get more gadgets online.
If you want to install
Traffic by Bing Maps. You would click on Get now, then click on Download.
Next, you will be prompted to Open with Windows Desktop Gadgets. Click OK.

Click on Install. In this case, the publisher is verified as being Microsoft. In a few moments it should be successfully installed.
