McKnight Family HALLOWEEN 2020 | Behind the Braids Ep. 131

You know how much we love #Halloween in our family, so come along with us for an eventful week! Shaun and I voted, as did Brooklyn & Bailey, Shaun helped Daxton and Paisley carve pumpkins, we all dressed up for Halloween, and the older kids had a Haunted Gingerbread House decorating contest! This is the first year that BrooklynAndBailey voted, Shaun and I decided to vote early. It's important to teach your kids how to exercise their right to vote. We also finally found one of our CGH Styling Head Toy Line endcaps at Walmart! Did you know that we have styling heads that you can learn how to braid on? You can find them in the link above!

Poor Shaun, always gets stuck carving pumpkins with the kids! This year, he let them draw their own faces on them, and Shaun helped carve them. How did you think Daxton and Paisley did? Which one did you like the best?

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, not for the ghosts, demons, scary... but for the fun opportunity to dress up in fun themes and celebrate family time. This year, Shaun and I dressed as Woody and Jessie from the Toy Story movies. Daxton and Paisley dressed up as Peter Pan and Wendy. Rylan dressed up as a Barbie, and Brooklyn and Bailey and their college friends dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters.

After Shaun drove the littles around Trick-or-Treating to houses he knew would be safe and social distanced, the rest of the crew decided to decorate Haunted Gingerbread Houses! This was a SUPER FUN activity that everyone LOVED! Which gingerbread house did you like the most???
