We celebrated International Women’s Day with MUSES — a group of storytellers who creates musical stories of inspiring women around the world. In this special edition of the #BerkleeAnywhere Concert Series, we featured three songs written and performed by Berklee students. Each song is written by a storyteller about a muse. “Breathe the Air of Peace” is written by Noemi Cruciani, inspired by MUSE #1 Janna Jihad (the youngest journalist in the world). Stay until the end for a special note by Grammy-winning artist and advocate for women in jazz Terri Lyne Carrington. Video is produced and edited by Sage Shriver-Blough, audio is mixed by Isabel Rodríguez and Georgia Parker. Watch the full concert of all three MUSES here: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CMLdZrLob1V/

You may apply to be featured as a storyteller by submitting a one-minute video at their website musesproject.com.

The #BerkleeAnywhere Concert Series features different students every week performing virtually wherever they are around the world. We may be separated by distance, but music empowers us to unite. Wherever you are, we invite you to connect with us every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on Berklee’s IGTV and Facebook pages.
