Sometimes life gets busy and it’s easy to forget to pause and take a few minutes for ourselves. This has definitely been ME for the last few weeks! Today, I’m walking you through my at-home facial routine when I just want to relax and have a moment to reflect on the day. It’s one of my favorite little things that makes a big difference overall.

If you haven’t seen my life update video talking all about the move and the changes happening, you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/wvwhJiEzllk

WEEKLY MOVING UPDATE: This week, I’d like to focus on something bigger than the move here. If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I’ve been having some ups and downs recently. Going through a transition is tough and just when I think I have a grasp on things, something else pops up. The thing that has weighed on me heavily for the last week and a half is social media - more specifically, how it has made me feel. I’m. Just. Tired. Of. All. The. Perfection. I’m tired of seeing highly edited and photoshopped photos of *created* moments instead of *actual* moments as the majority. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely have an appreciation for stylized photography but that’s not what I want to put out into the world. I've been mindful of accounts that I follow, but that doesn't make the difficult feelings go away. This whole situation is reflective of a larger conflict I’ve been feeling inside of me: *knowing* certain things are popular but *wanting* to create things that make a difference and push boundaries. This is something that has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. Right now, I’m taking things as they come, one step at a time. I feel a new chapter opening itself up to me and I want to honor the deeper part of myself. I’m listening. I’m learning. I’m showing up in the best way that I can. ❤️
