Nana Ouyang and Mike Block - Smooth Criminal (Michael Jackson Cover)

Nana Ouyang (歐陽娜娜) and Berklee string faculty, Mike Block, perform a cello duet of "Smooth Criminal" at the Berklee Performance Center. They performed at the Nana Ouyang 10-Year Anniversary Tour: Berklee Scholarship Fund Concert in April 2019, where tickets were sold-out in 20 minutes. This was also Nana's first full concert in the U.S.
Ouyang kicked off her tour at Berklee, where she is furthering her music studies. Completing her first year at the college, she sang and performed multiple instruments, delivering familiar tunes that span genres such as classical, pop, R&B, and rock. This concert also features fellow students, and was directed by 2018 alumnus Jonathan Foo.
Ouyang, an 18-year-old Chinese musician and actress who rose to stardom from a young age, is featured in Forbes 30 under 30 in Asia 2019 and has performed more than 100 concerts over the past 10 years. Since learning the piano at age 5 and the cello at 6, she has won numerous music competitions.
To help other students achieve their dreams, all proceeds from this concert were donated to the Berklee Scholarship Fund.
