Set the New Year on Fire:
2oz The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve
3/4oz fresh lime juice
6 mint leaves
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/4oz espresso
Flaming sugar cube in a lime shell for garnish
In an empty Collins glass, muddle mint leaves. Add Scotch, syrup, and lime juice. Stir until combined. Add crushed ice and stir. Float hot espresso on top.
To garnish: soak sugar cube in 151 proof rum, place securely in half an empty lime. Place on top of drink, and carefully light the sugar cube.
