Our India trip continues in this travel vlog as we highlight our super short flight from Bangalore to Chennai with SpiceJet. After a fantastic few days in Bangalore, eat our way around the city, it was time for David and I to head to Chennai.

We had flown some long domestic flights especially the previous flight from Amritsar to Bangalore going from north to south; however, this time around we'd be experiencing our shortest flight of the entire trip (barely 30 minutes in the air) while also flying with SpiceJet for the first time.
Our day started off in the wee hours of the morning as we grabbed a ride to the airport. What we couldn't help but notice was just how far the airport is from the city centre and how much traffic there was that time of day. If you're going to be traveling in and out of Bangalore it is recommended that you give yourself plenty of time.
Upon arriving at the airport it took a little while for us to check in but upon settling in we were super impressed with how modern, clean and comfortable the airport is for travellers. Overall, most airports in big Indian cities are ultra modern with plenty of services available. We decided to grab a contemporary breakfast and I went with a sweet donut and coffee combination.
After getting our seats upgrade we enjoyed a super smooth and short flight with SpiceJet to Chennai. The meal served on board was pretty bad but the overall experience with the airline was positive aside from that.
After sorting out a ride to our apartment in Chennai David and I were thrilled that the rest of the day was still available. We ended up doing some fascinating things for lunch and dinner but those will be in future episodes.
Our question for you is have you flown with SpiceJet before? How was your experience? What food would you like to see us try in Chennai? Let us know in the comments below.
