slice of white bread
slice of whole-wheat bread (same size)
sunflower seed butter (no nuts!)
strawberries, sliced (whole fruit instead of sugar-filled jam)
Spread a layer of sunflower seed butter onto one slice of bread, and a thinner layer onto the other slice. (This will help the sandwich stick together!)
Layer on sliced strawberries and assemble sandwich.
Preheat waffle maker as needed, according to your waffle maker’s instructions.
Once heated, spray waffle iron with cooking spray and press sandwich in waffle maker, according to your waffle maker’s heat/cook time specifications. (If your waffle maker doesn’t have a clasp or clip to keep it closed, just use a rubber band or a hair tie!)
Slice, serve, and enjoy!
