A group of youths from across the country including students from the Sol Plaatje University, took part in a one day hackathon marathon in Kimberley. The hackathon is a race of analyzing computer data and coming up with solutions to life threatening disasters like droughts and floods. The data comes from the Square Kilometre Array and large telescopes in the Northern Cape.
