'I wasn't expecting to make beer for chemical engineering' ????
For #BeerDayBritain, we’re spotlighting our Engineering Science students brewing beer as part of their Introduction to Chemical Engineering module earlier this year.
Students have been getting hands-on with key biochemical and process engineering concepts - like fermentation, heat transfer, and fluid flow.
The activity is part of a Coursework Module required by IChemE as part of their degree accreditation.
The brewing project gives students a taste of chemical engineering, showing how core principles play out in real-world, industry-linked settings-with hands-on, engaging results.
