Song for DJ Henry - Berklee George W. Russell Jr. Quartet

“Song for DJ Henry” is written in honor of the life of DJ Henry a 20-year-old junior at Pace University when he was shot to death by a white police officer in Pleasantville, New York, in 2010. This video not only seeks to honor DJ Henry but it also hopes to highlight the Danroy “DJ”Henry Social Change Scholarship at Berklee. The scholarship will support Berklee College of Music and/or Boston Conservatory at Berklee students who are financially and academically deserving with the potential to make a significant contribution to society through the performing arts.
