Archaeologists have unearthed a Neanderthal skeleton in the famous Shanidar Cave in Iraqi Kurdistan. They say the new discovery offers a unique opportunity to use modern technology to try and understand Neanderthal “ways of death”. Did Neanderthals dig graves?
