Are walls about as boring as it gets? Not according to self-professed ‘wall-aholic’ Heather Viles. For most of us the sight of ruins with things growing on them means they’ve been abandoned, but what if being overgrown with plants could actually be good for a ruin? In a bid to find out just that, Heather has devoted her life to watching walls, and her work in Wytham Woods might just change the way you think about them too.
