Continuing a trip to the Pacific, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres issued a strong call on climate action. In New Zealand, he engaged with students and urged a series of steps to achieve a more sustainable future, including ending subsidies on fossil fuels; and ceasing construction on new coal plants by next year. "We need a green economy not a grey economy," he said.
